Microchipping

Your pet must be registered with your local council after being microchipped. You will need to take your copy of the microchip paperwork to your local council and pay a one off lifetime registration fee to register your pet. Animals must be over 6 months of age, and it is cheaper if they are desexed. All information recorded on your pets’ microchip is controlled by your local council. If you change address or ownership of the animal it is essential you update your details with your local council by visiting your local pound, library or council chambers. You can also now update your pet’s details online
